Weddings

Powys Country House is the ideal location for a wedding weekend celebration.

We are able to seat a wedding party of up to 160 guests for a sit down meal.

In the past, the bridal party have taken over the main house, while relatives stayed in the cottages.  Extra guests were accommodated in camper vans in the grounds and at local B&B’s, which can accommodate up to 20 people. There are also another two hotels near by.

The bride and groom can stay in the Stable Cottage after the ceremony, (an ideal little love nest). 

We have local providers of Marquees, tents, tipis and domes as well as catering, florists and photographers that we can suggest.

We are able to give you a brilliant, and memorable weekend enjoyed by all.
