Here at Powys House, both your safety and the safety of our team comes first.
We follow the directions from the Welsh Assembly closely - please find up to date information here.
To benefit us all, we have put some additional measures in place.
In order for us to have the maximum time possible to dedicate to fully cleansing our properties ready for your worry-free holiday with us, we ask that you do not check in before 4pm and leave before 10am on your day of departure. Extra care is necessary to pay particular attention to high traffic areas and items, like keys, doorhandles, remote controls...
We have installed easy to use key safe boxes in which to retrieve the keys to your vacation, these will be thoroughly cleaned between guests. You will be sent your unique code ahead of your arrival.
Prior to your stay, we will provide all of the information related to your stay by email instead of leaving our information folders in the property. This means you will have easy to access information at your fingertips without the danger of transferal by multiple guests.
We make every effort to take the greatest care to your safety when changing linen and towels, and our offsite linen provider is well practiced. However if you prefer, we can remove our bedding and towels and you can provide your own.
We know that all of our little extra touches - books, blankets, toys etc really add to your holidays, but in these difficult times, we have taken the decision to remove anything additional that isn't required for your stay for your safety.
Please rest assured, that we are always on hand should any unlikely issue arise. If it does, simply contact us by phone or email, and a member of our team will provide help either contactless or wearing PPE.
We really appreciate your support at this time and cannot thank you enough for choosing to support your local accommodation providers. We ask that you help us keep our team safe too, by following a couple of easy steps.
We would appreciate you disposing your rubbish in the bins provided yourselves. Also, removing all linen and towels (if using ours) and placing them all in one location, and leaving the accommodation generally clean and tidy including loading the dishwasher.
We ask that you do not come if you or your group are showing signs of being unwell, have a temperature or display any symptoms of the virus.
Guests are reminded that grounds are shared, but particular zones are reserved for the property you are staying in. Should you encounter guests from another party, staff or other persons, please observe a 2m distance.
General cleaning items will be provided, and will be disposable where possible.
